We present to you Eye Knee's second collaboration! A collection of seven sound installations produced by Holly Miranda for sculptures created by Spanish artist Mikel Belascoain.

“Un Bosque / A Forest” opens TODAY (Dec 21st) in the Parque del Mundo in Txantrea (Pamplona, Spain) and "Geltoki". All this within the framework of the BRIF Festival, BRAF BRUF.

“In December of 2019 I played in Pamplona at what would be my last show in Europe before the pandemic. Sitting in the front row of that show was Mikel Belascoain. We were introduced later that afternoon and immediately hit it off. A mutual artistic inspiration began and we kept in touch when I left. Over the last two years we have collaborated from across an ocean on “Un Bosque / A Forest”. Mikel created seven hauntingly beautiful creatures that fill the Forest in Parque del Mundo. The fourth grade class of Colegio García Galdeano de la Txantrea wrote the mythology behind each sculpture. I was then given the stories and let their wild creativity inspire the sounds. The basis of each piece is a recording I captured in nature in the last two years. While I am gutted to not be able to be there for the opening, I am so proud of Mikel and the kids and what we have built together.” - Holly
